The year was 1996. It was a time vastly different from that of today with DVDs still dominating the shelves and Google yet to be invented. Our Founder and Principal Lawyer Greg Smith opened the doors to our first Smith's Lawyers office. It was his own experience with the complex compensation system after a car accident at 18 that motivated Greg to ensure others didn't face it alone. He knows all too well the feelings of anger, confusion and loss.
Since then, and over the past 25 years, our firm has been there right alongside thousands of clients in similar boats. In the past financial year alone our team of compassionate and experienced lawyers and paralegals have helped recover $28 million in settlements for our clients.
